Diversity/Inclusion Strategy for a Hospital System
Opportunity: An established hospital system decided to initiate a diversity and inclusion strategy.
Intervention: Worked with internal stakeholders to review data, develop strategies, facilitate focus group meetings, and implement strategic changes.
Outcome: Designed Diversity training certification, organization diversity metrics to improve patient care, diversity team re-launch, and strategies to adhere to accreditation standards for diversity and inclusion.
Team Development and Strategy Design for Non-Profit Leaders
Opportunity: Non-profit agency was awarded funding to improve the lives of constituents across the county in the areas of jobs, housing, income, and health benefits.
Intervention: Worked with a variety of leaders from various agencies resulting in collaboration to provide joint services. Helped team to streamline processes, improve communication and design methods to improve constituent engagement and retention.
Outcome: Achieved target outcome to engage and improve the lives of constituents in the areas of housing, job placement, family income improvements and emergency services.
Non-Profit Health Services Organization Focused on Employee Engagement
Opportunity: Non-profit organization experienced extensive change and restructuring.
Intervention: Collected organizational data to assess engagement levels through leader interviews, staff focus groups and review of internal documents.
Outcome: Designed and implemented a process to improve policies, engage employees, and improve member services.
Business Unit of a Global Pharmaceutical Organization Develops Diversity Strategy
Opportunity: A global 3000 employee division decided to develop a Diversity / Inclusion initiative.
Intervention: Worked with senior leaders to design and develop a measurable global strategy connected to key business objectives.
Outcome: Division won first place Diversity, Inclusion and Multiculturalism award for employee attraction, development and retention (out of 52 global nominations). Also improved employee engagement in largest division unit and increased women senior leaders by 72% and middle managers of color by 15% over an 8 month period.
Newly Married Individual Decided to Change Careers to Increase Income.
Opportunity: An individual desired the change careers to increase income to provide for family.
Intervention: Conducted an assessment and recommended key changes.
Outcome: Individual now earns more than double previous salary levels and occupies a new position.
