Al Sullivan, President and Owner

Al Sullivan is president and owner of Inspirus Consulting, Inc. He’s a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) with over 20 years professional experience in global and regional organizations.  He is currently enrolled in a Master of Science degree program in Organizational Development (MSOD) at American University in Washington, DC (May 2011 – expected graduation). The highly experiential and applied curriculum was co-developed by the National Training Laboratories (NTL) and American University.

Al has experience working at all organizational levels from the front lines to the executive suite. He is also accustomed to working across a variety of functional areas including Research & Development, Sales/Marketing, Engineering, Customer Service, Manufacturing/Operations, Quality Assurance, Administration and Information Technology.

Al’s professional affiliations include membership in the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), Triangle Society of Human Resources Management (TSHRM) – Past Diversity Director, The National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR) Triangle NC Chapter Vice President and the Durham Workforce Development Board (Youth Development Board Member). Al is married and has three children. Some of his personal interests include enjoying live jazz, hiking the Appalachian Mountains, fishing and participating in triathlons.
